What does a consultation include? 

• a phone meeting in advance to schedule and discuss specific goals
• 2 hour home visit from a Montessori teacher, where she will observe how the child interacts with the space, rearrange furniture, sort activities with you, and make a plan together for future changes in the space
• an extensive and personalized follow-up email with suggestions for furniture, Montessori activities, and decor
• a floor plan design of the ideal Montessori set-up to work towards

What does a Montessori home look like? 

A Montessori home environment is a beautiful, minimalistic space which fosters independence and self-direction through the thoughtful design of each material, through the child-sized layout of the environment, and through the way the adult interacts with the child. When children have more control over their learning, they work harder, perform better, retain more information, and are more creative and joyful.

Katelynn Johnson is the owner, director, and Head Teacher at Montessori Mother ELC, Germany's 1st Montessori Early Learning Center. She has over 9 years of experience as a Montessori educator and is an AMI-trained 0-3 teacher, specialized in multilingual education.
